65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and Touriga, 5% Petit Verdot, aged 10 months in French oak barrels. Bottled in July 2006. Released in August 2006. Nose – . This Cabernet Sauvignon red blend exhibits aromas of bright cherry and eucalyptus. Taste – Silky wine with slight toast and currents. Food Pairing – Will pair well with pork, lamb and veal dishes.

This wine has a gorgeous nose of violets and Kenyan coffee, leading to flavors of dark fruits and touches of vanilla and smoke. The tannins are beautifully balanced with a touch more acidity than previous years, ensuring the palate is focused. A very accessible wine in its youth but may be cellared for a further 5-7 years for added complexity.

The Heritage is a massively structured and tannic wine, meant for cellaring and consumption in 8-10 years. The aroma of the wine is quite spectacular with cedar, cigar box and Indian spices, followed by flavors of vanilla, grilled meats and dark fruits. The tannins are soft and supple, resulting in a wine that is multi layered and complex.
